August sheet piling services for pits, utility trenches and shoring

Flat sheets are used for cut-off walls, cofferdams and lagging.

Sheeting, or sheet piling, has found wide use throughout the world for many applications.  The primary application is for SHORING, but other applications range from cut-off walls to creating cofferdams.  With greater familiarity and more modern methods of installation, like variable moment vibrators and Mobilram with fixed leaders, sheeting will find ever greater usage, even in urban environments.  Additionally, the use of sheeting for permanent applications continues to grow as it provides a cost effective and aesthetic means of creating walls for marine wharfs, tunnels to highway interchanges.

Pictured is the Worthington Homes project, which was shored in under 10 days, including tiebacks and excavation.  Sheeting was installed by August Construction and the tiebacks and excavation by Shoring Engineers. The Moot Group was the Project Manager for Play Vista.   Cefali & Associates provided the shoring engineering.
