HP Driven Piles using vibro techniques

A series of Vibro-Piles_® (patent pending) being installed for a test at the Cerritos Library Parking Structure.  The Vibro-Piles_® , a proprietary pile system, was substituted for the 613 designed  precast piles to achieve cost savings and superior performance.  The Vibro-Pile_® is a driven displacement shell less cast-in-place  pile capable of higher capacity than most precast  piles.  A  Vibro-Pile_® is to a Precast Piles what a screw is to a nail.

Drilling with Rough Terrain Crane CM-20, about 25 feet from street level, eliminated constructing an access road and working pad.  The spoils were spun off into a dirt box, saving additional handling.

Three different drill rigs were used on this hillside pad for two hillside residences.
