FORT MacArthur slope repair

Fort MacArthur situated in San Pedro atop 40 foot bluffs, suffered a slope failures.  Earth Tech designed and managed the project and August Construction repaired the slope. In order to minimize the loss of usable property at the top of slope, a combination of Mecanically Stabilized Earth and compaction with Tensal geogrid was utilized.  The unstable portion that had only raveled received a 2:1 slope trimming.
